On twitter we've been RPing some meet-ups between different characters (Jake is on twitter as @lakesidejake and Howl is on there as @hoowl).
I thought it'd be fun to write things out fully, based on those RPs, but wasn't sure where to post them... SO I decided to post them here!
Below is Part 1 of Jake's Tales, in which he meets Shiva, from Addergoole!

Warnings: this is entirely non-canon, and silly, and may have smut later on.
Jake's Tales - Part 1
******
Twitter conversation between @lakesidejake and @ShivCat
<lakesidejake> You. Me. Meet up. Soon!
<ShivCat> *laugh* way with words, don'tcha have?
<lakesidejake> Pretty women make me speechless.
<ShivCat> I guess you'll have to find another use for your mouth, then.
<lakesidejake> *smirks* Any suggestions?
<ShivCat> They require us to be in the same location - where are you right now?
<lakesidejake> I'm daydreaming that I'm right next to you. Oh, physically? In Rivertown - a town south of the Runevasser mountain range.
<ShivCat> I can probably find that. When do you want to get together?
<lakesidejake> How about now, if you're not busy? ;)******
Jake sent off the message, then looked up, only to find Fang and Howl staring at him, the former amused, the latter impatient.
“Stop talking to people with the box,” Howl whined, his lower lip jutting out. “I’m hungry and you walk soo slowly when you’re writing.”
Fang chuckled. “Patience, Howl. Jake’s mental facilities aren’t capable of entertaining two simultaneous actions.” Then, to Jake, he said, “Perhaps you could save the messaging for when we get to the brewery?”
Jake rolled his eyes at both of them. “You guys go on ahead. I might be meeting someone today, so—”
The words were barely out of his mouth when, with a small pop, someone appeared beside him. Jake jumped, a little startled, but recovered quickly, recognizing Shiva from the bizarre dating show he’d watched several weeks back.
“Why, hello,” he drawled, looking her up and down. She was pretty, tall and slim, with hair as red as Amber’s. Her jeans were just on the right side of tight.
“Hello.” Her answering grin was feline-sharp, and behind her back he could see her tail twitching in amusement. “So, what’s new?”
“I think you’re the newest thing here.” He smiled, a lazy expression. “You’re even lovelier in person than on TV, I must say.” He ignored Howl’s amused sniggering, behind him.
“And you’re even sweeter than you are online.” She paused, glanced around in interest, seeming to soak up the sunshine. “Do you want to show me around, or do you want to come see my school?”
“Lady’s choice.” Then he winked. “But if I have to pick one, I’ll admit to wanting to learn more about you.”
Her laughter was full and throaty, full of promises. “And here I thought you were just saying that to get in my pants.”
“Well, I can’t say I’m adverse to that, either.”
“No surprise there.”
Fang cleared his throat. Jake turned around to find him smiling at both of them, the expression a little strained. “Howl and I shall just peruse the markets, then. Perhaps we can meet up there afterwards.”
He nodded at both of them, then steered Howl down the street. As they rounded the corner, Jake heard Howl say, “Did you see her tail?!”Jake turned back around to face Shiva, inwardly cursing Fang for being so rude as to not introduce himself. But Fang was odd like that sometimes, temperamental. Luckily Shiva didn’t seem to mind. On the contrary, she was still smiling, focused solely on him.
“So...” She was eyeing him up, Jake was pleased to notice. “Impress me, hotshot.”
He glanced up and down the street, listening to make sure no one was approaching. All clear, thankfully. He wouldn’t have been able to do what he wanted had someone been watching, and he had a feeling he needed to if he wanted to get lucky.
Jake smirked at Shiva. “Well, you like your boys under you.” He slid down on to the ground, so that he was kneeling, his face right by her waist. He resisted the urge to lean in closer and tease her, but he was intensely aware of the small stretch of exposed skin between the hem of her shirt and her jeans. “Is that good?”
Shiva actually purred, which he counted as a victory; he’d read her right, then. “Mm... You are impatient. But I like.” She tousled his hair playfully. “Right here?”
Of course not right here, but Jake knew how to play along. He tilted his head upwards to nuzzle her hand, his tongue darting out to lick her palm. “Wherever you want.”
She giggled. “Oh, you’re adorable. Here seems like a beautiful place.”
Jake kept smiling, although he was cursing inside. Was she serious? He had to backtrack, and now. “We could go for a walk along the lake first, if you like. The forests are pretty secluded, and the mountain view is stunning.”
Shiva ran her hand along his neck with a hint of possessiveness he couldn’t quite understand. She seemed reluctant to pull her hand away. “That sounds beautiful.”
Jake sighed silently with relief, feeling back in control. “It won’t take long to get there.” He stood up, and held out his hand. “May I?”
She set her hand in his, smiling, clearly charmed, so Jake decided to push his luck. He leant down and kissed the back of her hand, peering up at her through his lashes. “It’s right this way.”
And when Shiva blushed and let him lead her away from the town, Jake couldn’t help but smirk.
To be continued...

Looking forward to seeing Shiva's POV.
And may have to fill in the gap from that fade to black scene.... ;-)

Oooh. That might be fun.
I need to remember to save this offline, so that when I'm offline for a week I can write up my half!

Ok, I've come across this acronym a few times now, so I've googled it.
Are you using RP for Role Playing? -
They are indeed.
The internet, it's inspiring but equally distracting. -
oops?
