After my debut into racy writing with The Lover, I've decided to open a parallel thread to the one Lyn has on the Addergoole forums. But I am very new at this stuff so take it easy on me. *pleading eyes*

Request pairings and I will do my best to write them (and make them canon if possible).

Anna - already cringing and worried about posting this.

You just like them because of the combination of their names. Don't lie!

*giggle* no worry, just do what I do. Ignore the suggestions you don't like.

    Jake & @ShivCat? ;-)

    Idea!!

How about co-writing? I do the Jake bits and you do the Shiv bits? We could use google docs or something....?

...would that work, or just be really weird?

*giggles* I've done it. It's totally do-able, although probably blushalisious.

I blushed all through The Lover anyway, so it's not like that would make a big difference!

You mean you don't blush normally when writing this stuff?

Anna - has seen the word blush so many times it is starting to lose meaning.

Well I am working on Char's request now.

Somehow the sweetness is harder to write. I think it sounds cheesy. Hrm.

Do you mean The Lover by Marguerite Duras? Because I loved that book!

I can't write sex scenes without getting incredibly flustered though.

No, never heard of that book! I meant the bonus story I wrote between Jake and Rae - same title, I imagine very different subject matter.

And, let me tell you, I was SO embarrassed whilst writing it all.

Oops! My bad... I'll check your bonus story out. I thought it might be the same because the subject matter is actually quite similar... minus the whole weres thing.

On second thought that's a pretty big minus.

Haha. :D You should still be able to find the link on the sidebar (it's not listed under the main bonus stories, but it IS listed on the semi-secret underground tales page).

I think that's okay. People _sound_ cheesy sometimes when they're in love. Especially in love. Where else can you afford to be completely naked with your emotions, not just with your skin.

(Something at least one of my protagonists is completely missing out on.)

I guess the thing is I'm not a cheesy person. Even when I'm in a relationship.

Oh well when I finish it up you guys can tell me whether it's any good!

I have my cheesy moments. They're almost indistinguishable from the tender moments.

I always get embarrassed when writing sex scenes. I just sit there with a blush and then deleted everything and fade to black instead.
