idea for prizes/rewards

Right now this is what you can do with your cookies:
• Use them to vote for a specific bonus story: 1 cookie = 1 vote.
• Ask a character any question, and they will answer it, for 15 cookies.
• Request your own bonus story for 50 cookies, jumping the queue of in-the-works bonus stories as well as forgoing the voting process.
• Save them up and have a cameo appearance / create a minor character for 70 cookies.
• Request your own short story (length = 2+ chapters) for 85 cookies.I just today added another possibility:
• Get a text link on the sidebar of the website to your personal website for 14 days with 30 cookies
• If you have 100+ cookies you can get an image ad on the sidebar. (See here and here for more info)
(advertising policy applies - basically no porn, racist stuff, etc).Do you have any other ideas of things you'd like to see?

Did you read @cajeck's post on points? http://eighthcirclestudios.com/ns/?p=143 I thought it was interesting.
I think I, too, need more things for people to earn.
Also loosely considering doing a November fundraiser.

The fans on facebook thing was interesting, don't think it'd work for me.

I count that as a point/stamp per fan. But I need to start USING my facebook page for something.

Well yeah, I give people 1 cookie if they join facebook, so I guess I do it that way too. But I haven't done the "every 10 fans = bonus story" thing.

I'm so swamped in bonus stories, everyone could fall silent for a year & I'd still be writing bonus stories. Well, 10 weeks, last count.
Not that I want people to fall silent!
Just that I need to rethink my system
