Only part 1 is up right now. Part 2 coming shortly. I *know* what needs to happen, the words just aren't coming, and the sore throat/headache ain't helping.
Anyway.
I had to include the werenutria - that was either Irk or Char's suggestion, I'm not sure whose.
Re: the town, this is what I said to someone by email:
I see it as being more colourful than the city Lilith was in before, people a bit more relaxed since it's not as much a mafia area. I thought it'd be good for Lilith to see that it's not all gloom and doom above ground - people can be happy. [...] and I also thought it'd help Lilith's character development a bit. Maybe?

I can give you a small clue as to why that ewte reacted weirdly to Lilith.... A similar thing happens in the bonus story A Deal's A Deal. ;)
